There is some work being done on Douglas County Road 8, just past its intersection with County Road 1, on the way to the Ellis House.  Though there probably wont be delays because of this construction you should expect some rough roads

Also, for our out of town guests we thought it wise to warn you that if you are traveling through the Twin Cities leave a little extra time.  Ever since the tragic colapse of the I-35W bridge traffic in and around the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area has been bad, expect a few delays.

We recomend booking your rooms now.  We recived a report this morning that Arrowwood Resort only has a dozen rooms left.  Because Alexandria, MN is a resort community it books up quick.
